publication of lessons

Lessons or experiments are published only after a rigorous process of evaluation, testing and review. Actual publication of a lesson usually takes more than a year from the date of its original development. This insures that the lessons are sound both academically and scientifically. We have received many favorable comments, because teachers know that these lessons work!

The publication process begins at the completion of the Summer Program, when each team writes up its proposed lesson. The draft is then reviewed by other teachers at the same grade level, as well as by a committee of scientists. After appropriate revisions, the lessons are tried by the teachers in their own classrooms and further revised. After all revisions, the lessons are published in a booklet to be distributed to teachers in the following years. Now, the lessons are also available on the World Wide Web.
